Vecchio

Venezuelan Ambassador for the U.S., Carlos Vecchio, visited Texas A&M University in March 2020 to spread awareness of the situation in Venezuela and the threat it represents to democracy in the Western hemisphere.

 

Up to this day, this event has been Ambassador Vecchio’s most attended presentation, gathering more than 600 people. 

 

VENSA won the MSC Co-Program of the Year award due to this event's impact.

Foro Penal

The Foro Penal organization visited the Rudder Tower at Texas A&M in 2018 to discuss the human rights violations done in Venezuela to families and political leaders.

 

This event showcased firsthand the tracking of thousands of injustices done, since president Hugo Chavez, by this non-profit entity.

Un Par Por Un Sueño

VENSA collected 300+ pairs of shoes that were distributed to people in the slums of Caracas through a partnership with Un Par Por Un Sueño.

 

Un Par Por Un Sueño is a foundation with the goal of saving lives through nourishment, education, and sports. They offer food pantries, medical assistance and perform recreational and educational activities for young people.
